Fever &gt;38.5\u2009C,\u00a0inability to bear weight,\u00a0serum white blood cell count (WBC) &gt;12,000\/mm3, and\u00a0an erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) \u226540\u2009mm\/h were found to be associated with septic arthritis of the hip.
