Systemic complications, which are present in 30 to\u00a040% of patients, may provide the first clues to the disease.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>2017 ACR\u2013EULAR Classification Criteria for Primary Sj\u00f6gren\u2019s Syndrome<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On the basis of the listed classification criteria, a diagnosis of primary Sj\u00f6gren\u2019s syndrome is defined as a score of 4 or\u00a0more. These criteria apply to patients who have at least one symptom of ocular or oral dryness or the presence of systemic manifestations suggestive of primary Sj\u00f6gren\u2019s syndrome. Exclusion criteria include active hepatitis C virus infection\u00a0on polymerase-chain-reaction assay, radiotherapy of the cervical spine, sarcoidosis, graft-versus-host disease, receipt\u00a0of anticholinergic drugs, and IgG4-related disease.
