Adults
Clinical suspicion of streptococcal pharyngitis (e.g., fever, tonsillar swelling, exudate, enlarged/tender anterior cervical lymph nodes, absence of cough or coryza) with
- History of rheumatic fever or
- Documented household exposure or
- Positive rapid strep screen
