Fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS) is conceptualized as a chronic disorder characterized by widespread and persistent non-inflammatory musculoskeletal pain. Concomitant symptoms usually include fatigue, insomnia, morning stiffness, depression, anxiety, and cognitive problems (forgetfulness, concentration difficulties, mental slowness, memory and attention problems, etc.).
